Project Overview

Premium transportation in Lagos is highly fragmented and largely informal. Most executive airport pickups, corporate travel bookings, and event transportation are coordinated through WhatsApp vendors with inconsistent pricing, poor driver verification, and unreliable service delivery.

For high-value clients, transport failure creates reputational damage, operational delays, and poor customer experience.

PrimeFleet was designed to solve this trust and coordination gap by creating a structured executive car rental platform for verified, pre-scheduled, driver-assisted transportation.

The goal was not to compete on price, but to compete on certainty, professionalism, and operational reliability.

Target Users
  • Diaspora professionals needing reliable airport pickup and executive transportation
  • Corporate travelers requiring punctual and professional mobility for business meetings
  • Event planners managing VIP guest movement for weddings, conferences, and corporate events
  • Event promoters coordinating transport for international guests, officials, and partners

These users value certainty, professionalism, trust, and operational reliability over price.

Core Operational Challenges
  • Inconsistent vendor response and poor service reliability
  • Lack of verified drivers and vehicle trust layer
  • Unclear pricing and last-minute price changes
  • No structured booking confirmation process
  • Reputational risk for executives and event organizers
  • Poor coordination for multi-vehicle corporate and event transport
My Role — Product Operations Contributor
  • Identified the market opportunity and proposed the core product idea for a curated executive car rental platform within the TravelTech space
  • Helped define the MVP scope and operational model for verified, driver-assisted bookings focused on premium client transport needs
  • Contributed to product thinking around booking workflows, customer trust layers, pricing structure, and vendor coordination
  • Worked with developers, designers, technical writers, and other cross-functional team members to support product execution
  • Participated in frontend testing, admin workflow validation, and usability feedback refinement to improve customer experience and operational efficiency

This project was designed to solve a real operational problem by combining product thinking with business execution and service reliability.

Solution Design

PrimeFleet introduced a structured premium transport workflow through:

  • Verified vehicles and professionally vetted drivers
  • Transparent quote generation and pricing visibility
  • Pre-scheduled airport pickups and event transport bookings
  • 30% secured deposit workflow for booking confirmation
  • Admin-controlled reservation approval and driver assignment
  • Pre-shared driver name, photo, and vehicle details before pickup
  • Backup vehicle allocation for high-priority bookings
  • Multi-vehicle coordination for corporate and event clients

The platform focused on certainty, trust, and operational excellence rather than price competition.

Validation Indicators
  • MVP structured for 50–100 completed bookings target within the first 6 months
  • 90%+ on-time performance target for executive transport bookings
